H1B transfer, is it possible from india

I wonder if you answer me, I had apporved h1b petition last year, but didnot go for stamping, now the compnay gone bankrupt, I797 is valid till 2012, can I still do trasfer to new company with this , please note I am in India, never been to USA.

There is really nothing called "transfer". When people call it transfer, in fact, it is just a new petition which is not subject to the annual cap.

Therefore, if you find new employer, you can ask them to petition for you all over again.
