Hi,

I have approved H1-B pitition from 2008, but I have not used it as I am already in US on L1.

Can you please let me know if I can use it now and also can you please let me know if I can check that H1 pitition is still valid.

You can use it, if your employer did not revoke/withdraw it.
you can check status online if you have case number.
Else ask your employer.

Yes. The new employer will need to file the transfer.

I just have I797 Approval notice. I am not using that now. I am working on L1 as of now and want to transfer my H1 Approval notice to new employer.
