  • H1-B stamping at India with approved I-140

    Hi,
My husband has an approved I-140 and he has completed first 6 years of his H1-B.
Recently he got extension on his H1-B for another year and we are planning to go to India for visa stamping.

    1. Can anyone tell us what documents does my husband need to carry for his H1-B visa stamping, since he has already got his labor and I-140 approved.

    2. Also his old passport expired while he was in US, so he had to renew his passport in US for another 10 years before filing for H1-B extension. Now that he has a new passport number in the renewed passport, could anyone tell us if any additional documents we need to carry, or any precaution we need to make for his new passport before stamping.
Note: Last visa was stamped in the old passport.New passport is freshly issued in US.

Thanks in advance for your valuable time and response.

    >>> Documents listed in the below link + Labor and I-140 approvals to prove that he is eligible for the 7 year visa stamping.

    >>> He just need to carry both the passports when he goes for the visa stamping.
