URGENT-Travel on B1 while H1 under process

Hi ALL,

I need some urgent help......
Can I travel on Business Visa to US if my company has recently filed my H1 application?
I have the invitation letter from my client to be in US for a period of 45 days.
Can i travel and if not could you please let me know the alternative for this as I donot want to loose my H1.
