Following is my case history
Interview Date: 9 March 2010
Location: Chennai
On Interview date: Blue 221(g)
Submitted docs: 9 March 2010. Since i had all the docs that were asked in the 221(g), i submitted it to the Consul officer, after the interview.
Status update: Myself and my employer emailed the consulate thrice, to know the status, and we got reply that the case is under process.
Status change in VFS website: 29 June 2010
Passport Delivered: 30 June 2010.
Total waiting period: 114 Days
I had submitted my original offer letter, job vacancy letter, I-797, Passport along with the other docs. I got all my originals along with the passport.
Those of you who are waiting after recieving 221(g), don't lose hope. Good luck.
