I am not sure if this is the right forum to get some advice for my case.
I recently got h1 transferred to a new company through PP and informed my old employer after getting the approval notice that I am leaving the company as I have transferred. He said since I didn't give 15 days notice and proper resignation he is reversing my last pay cheque which got deposited and cleared also ...and the reversal of the cheque happened. Now I am not sure when will he pay back that amount and he replied if everything settles well with vendor then he will pay back me.
Is it advisable to place a complain on this company in DOL? and will I be getting my salary back after DOL reviews the case or will they reject on the same reason that I didn't give 15days notice.
