H1B Transfer - Setting the end date and start dates

Hello, I have received the H1B transfer approval for my new employer and trying to set the start date with them. I wanted to check if I should "Exactly align" the end date from the previous employer and start date of the new employer? Or can there be few dates of overlap? Would love to understand that aeap.

Did you file for a transfer while you were still employed with the current employer ? If yes, you can start working for the new employer as soon as you receive the H1 petition receipt
