H1-B Visa rejected under section 221G

Hi,

My H1-B visa got rejected under section 221G some time ago(roughly 2 months ago). will it affect if I apply for B1/B2 visa. What additional documentation that I need to provide to consulate for H1-B visa under 221G. is it necessary that my petioner to withdraw petition ?

Can someone let me know more about this.

It is difficult to say whether it will affect your B1/B2 visa.

Employer does NOT have to withdraw your H1 petition.
