H1B to L1, Possible?

Hi,
I have a very unique situastion. I am a non IT husband, wife works for a big IT firm. She has travelled to USA once on H1B, I also went as a vacation & came back. Now her company has filed H1B again & the interview dates are soon. As I get H4 & unable to work in USA. This time we would like stay long term for couple of years atleast. I need to know whether this H1B can be transferred to L1 so that I can get EAD & work there?

No, H4 can't be converted to L1.

Just like your wife, you need to find another employer and process L1.

Alternative is, your wife can go on L1, and you'll get L2 with which you can work after getting EAD.

There is no such thing as H1B to L1 transfer. Each type of petition/visa has it's own purpose. Unless your wife's company send her in L1, you will not be able to get L2 and EAD to work. Alternatively, as suggested below, you will need to find an employer who can sponsor H1B for you and when that gets approved, you can start working.
