Hi All,
I have to make an important travel (personal but not a medical emergency )to India.
I switched in Oct 2019 to a new employer and I have been working with this employer since Oct 2019 - till date.
I have - valid H1b Stamp from my previous employer until 02/04/2022 + Latest approved I797 with the current employer ( validity until august 2022)
I wanted to check - with the new travel restrictions to enter USA until Dec 31st 2020, am I allowed to enter USA with my stamp with previous employer ?
OR, Do I need to get new stamp with the latest employer to enter USA ?
As per my knowledge, before the executive order was imposed, if a person has a valid H1b stamp on the passport they can enter USA by showing the latest valid I797 through new employer at the Immigration.
Please let me know if I can travel to India and return back to USA by mid Dec 2020.
If yes, what documents do I need to carry to show my services in USA.
