Ds160 - Primary occupation and current employer

Hi ,
Situation:
I am currently in india. Worked with employer A from 2011 oct to 2020 mar. Due to health issues i quit my job in march-2020. Filed for h1 through employer B and got approved. Employer B has given offer letter from oct-2020, but i am not working for them as i am still in india.

Query:
In ds 160, we have a question for primary occupation and present employer.
If i mention as primary occupation as computer science, then it is making present employer as mandatory. But i am not working currently.

If is select as primary occupation as not employed it is asking for a reason.

Here can i mention employer B as my current employer as i have offer letter from oct-2020 ..?

I fear of rejection or more queries if i enter as primary occupation as Not employed.

Let me know what to enter and did any one go for h1 interviews by mentioning primary occupation as not employed..? If so please mention their experiences.

Hi,
Since you are not employed in India, you will need to select only as Not Employed. If you work in India then you can mention your India Employer details there. Otherwise, the offer you got in the USA will effective, once you reach there.
