Hi,
My H1-B petition starts on mar 20th 2005 and expires on June 16th 2007. The visa period is 2 years and 3 months instead of the normal 3 years, eventhough my project tenure is for more than 3 years. The reason for June 16th date is that my passport expires on that day.
My question is that will the remaining 9 months of my first H1b petition will be included in my second term H1b petition. If I will loose this 9 months, is there any solution or work-around for this to get the petition reissued for 3 years.(Assuming that I get my passport reissued for extended validity from the Indian consulate in US)
Thanks in advance.
