H4 Stamped in Chennai

Hi,

I got my H4 stamped in chennai in july , 2010. My husband is in the US and i am here on vacation with my son.
Here are the documents that i had in hand

1. Copy of my husband's I 797
2. Copy of all pages of my husband's current passport
3. My passport and son's passport
4. HDFC receipt
5. Interview letter
6 Photos
7 DS 160 Application confirmation letter
8 Employment verification letter from my husband's employer
9 His job offer letter
10 LCA
11 Marriage invitation card
12 Birth certificate of the child
13 Pay stubs for one year
14 W2 from previous years
15 Tax documents for all the previous years
16 Bank statements for the last 3 months
17 H1 B petition and I 129

Visa officer Questions:
VO: Hello how are you?
I: Good thanks how are you?
VO: Good and are you a dependant?
I: Yes
VO: How much is your husbands salary?
I: around 55k per annum
VO: where do you live in the US
I: ---
VO: do you like ---?
I: Yes i do..
VO:why hasnt your husband come down for vacation for the past 3 yrs?
I: he will be joining us shortly..
VO: oh ok


Questions to my 7 yr old son
VO:how old are you
son: 7 yrs
VO: which grade are u in
son: 2nd grade

VO: Your passports will be courier to you

The visa officer only looked at my husbands passport copy and his 797..No other supporting documents were asked.. It went on well and we were out of the consulate in 25 minutes..
