H1-H4 COS applied

Hi ,
My employer has applied for COS.As he had sent the application last week I am in a fix regarding what my status is currently.If I apply for a job what should I say my status is?

Please explain.

You remian in your current status until the COS gets approved.

If I still remain on my current status which is H1 ,in this case

1.Can I transfer my H1?
2.Should I tell about my COS while applying for job?
3.Till I dn't get my receipt number will my employeer keep generating my salary?

What is your current status? If you are currently in H1B, then What status are you requesting by applying a COS?

COS is from H1 to H4

>>> Yes.

2.Should I tell about my COS while applying for job?
>>> Not required. But read about the last action rule in immihelp. If your H4 COS gets approved after your H1B transfer, your status will change to H4 and to work on H1B for the new employer, you will need to file the COS again or leave the country and re-enter in H1B visa. You cannot work till the COS gets approved.

3.Till I dn't get my receipt number will my employeer keep generating my salary?
>>> That you should check with the employer. You can continue to work and get paid until the COS to H4 gets approved. Alternatively, you can also stop working after filing the COS to H4.
