H4 in Admin Processing for only one of the applicants

Hi All,

Fresh H4 visa was applied for my spouse and kid, Interview happened on 27th Jan and visa was approved. I received my kids passport yesterday with the visa stamped. However, my spouse's application in CEAC shows "Administrative Processing", case update date 27th Jan. No slip was given.

Any idea on what could be the issue and any time frame

Hi,
Did your spouse get passport stamped back? Normally, Administrative processing status is very common and consulate needs some additional time to process the visa.
