EAD and location Amendment

Hi All,
I have got my EAD part of my I-487 processing. I was in my H1B and I never changed my employer.

Now I have to move from location X to Y. For this location change, Do I need to do location Amendment even though I hold EAD?

Pls help!

Hi,
It depend on which visa classification you are going to use. If you are still going to continue with H1B then Yes. You will need to file an Amendment if there is any material change. If you are going to use EAD then no need.
