Hi,
I had a question regarding H1B fees.
My previous employer made me pay the entire fees for the H1B filing including lawyer fee, filing fee ($500+$320) and expedited filing fee ($1000). The employer is a non-profit organization. I hired a lawyer and did the entire payment for the filing and lawyer myself.
Is that legal on the employers part?
