  • H1 stamping in India - DOL has blacklisted the company/Employer for Fraud

I came to India for Visa and now I have received news that DOL/USCIS has blacklisted our Employer(Dallas based) because it was involved in placing employees illegally. They have also detained few of the employees who are on H1B and are illegally working on multiple projects at the same time. Also heard that they have deported the employees(yet to confirm) and looking for our employer on Fraud and Money laundering charges.

Question: I have my visa slot next week, does the Visa officer will be notified about my employer if yes, since I'm ignorant of my employers Fraud can I justify my case in the interview?

    Hi,
Did you attend the Interview? What was the outcome?
Normally, If you go for stamping with the help of H1B Sponsoring Employer who is block listed by government will make issues. To avoid these issues, you can do H1B transfer with another Employer, get approved then go for stamping with new documents.
    Thanks
