H1B transfer without a stamped visa is it possible?

Hi,

This is my current scenario.. I'm a MS Graduate from the US and got selected in the H1B lottery in 2020. I got my H1B petition approved in Nov 2020 and is valid until July 2023. I have the I-797A approval notice but do not currently have a stamped H1B visa on my passport. I'm planning to resign with my current employer to go back to India for a career change.

Is it possible for a potential new employer in India to transfer my approved H1B petition although I currently do not have a stamped visa on my passport?

Hi,
You can transfer your H1B to any other Employer who will offer new position to you.. Once you get your H1B transfer Approval then you will need to go for Visa stamping in order travel back to USA..

Thanks rkk09 . Do you know any possible link on USCIS website which states this rule? Tried finding for one, but did not get it!
