Hi, My H1B has been approved and I have to go for stamping however we have an issue
- the company that has sponsored the H1B is my brother in laws company
- in the form DS 160 we are supposed to disclose relatives names and last names. I will have to disclose my sisters name and last name.
- I also have to disclose where I am staying etc which is my sisters house - which is also the registered office of the company
- if I get questions on how I got this job- should I disclose upfront that it is my Brother in Law's company but i went thorugh the formal interview process
- would this lead to the visa getting rejected due to potential " wanting to immigrate to the US issue"
Any help on how I should approach - we do not want to lie or hide anything
