Do I need to be in the US during H1B Lottery results?
Assuming I get selected for the lottery and want to do a change of status, do I need to be in the US at the time of the lottery results or only after my employer submits the petition (e.g. if my employer submits the petition on 4/23 will my application not be abandoned if I go to the US between 4/1 and 4/23 assuming results come out on 4/1)?
