Reg : H1b visa approval query

In the year of 2013, when i tried to renew the h1b visa with my petitioner, the visa officer provides 229g slip and after 8 month, i received the response as " Not able to provide h1b visa due to the client letter expiration". My client contract was at that time ends, due to that US consulate not able to approve the h1b renewal on that time.

Now this year, i got h1b in lottery and going to file the petition with my new petitioner. Will the last h1b denial will be a problem for this time? Please clarify me.

Never. As long as you provide valid supporting documents and project is good and your position is specialty occupation you no need to get worry on this.
