Hi,
My H-1B would be expiring in Aug 2005 after getting issued in 2002.
However, in the last three years, I have worked out of US for only eight months.
So, is the total time I can stay in US on H-1B is six years, or is it that I can be here on H-1B for a maximum of three more years on a renewed H-1B, irrespective of whatever time I spend in this country.
Also, are there any complications involved if I want to transfer to a different company now, esp. as my Visa is about to expire.
