Renew passport after starting H1b application

Hello,

I have just initiated an H1b-visa application using the passport number on my current passport. My current passport will expire in less than a year and I am planning to renew it, and bring the new passport to the embassy for stamping, but wanted to check whether renewing the passport after initiating the visa application could cause any trouble?

Hi,
No.. You will not have.. But, If you get your visa stamped with old passport, After getting expire also, you will need to keep both the passports while travel.
