Currently on L1 and H1-B approved

Hi Immigration Gurus

I am currently on L1-Blanket visa and currently working. I also have an H1-B approved in June 2009 from company A which I never used.

My project on L1 is ending next month after which I will be going to India.

I spoke to a consulting company B who is ready to hire me.

Now how can I use my H1-B which was approved from company A

Q1. So will it be a case of transfer of H1-B from company A to B.??

(Note: I was never on company A's payroll so I dont have the paystub).

Q2. How much time will the process of coming on to H1-B will take.

Please Advise.

>>> Company B will have to file an H1B petition on your behalf as a COS from L1 using the same CAP from your existing H1B petition from Company A (Give company B a copy of your H1B approval notice from Company A). You will have to give Company B the latest pay slips from your L1 employment.

Q2. How much time will the process of coming on to H1-B will take.
>>> 2-3 months by normal process and 15 days by premium (additional $1000).
