L1(b) to H1

Here is my situation

My husband is on L1(b) visa which is a co transfer ,this will expire by the end of next yr ,co is ready to apply for H1 visa provided he completes his college.

It is not possible to complete bachelors degree in a span of 1yr. Im on L2 visa presently not working .In between co applied for green card but stuck at I485.

Experts pls advise if there is any other possibility .

L1B can be extended upto 5 years (initial 3 yrs + another 2 years). This should give your husband 3 years to finish his degree and move to H1B.

The other option is to wait and hope for GC to get approved by then.

Or the last option is for you to get a H1B and apply a H4 for your husband

I have one more question if im on H1 visa and my husband on H4 then he cant work right ,is there another option whereby he can work n study.
