I have a query regarding my H1 visa stamping. I have a valid H1 visa stamped until
Aug 2011 on my passport. I did a H1 transfer to company X and my I-797 is valid upto March
2012.
Iam planning to visit india next month for my wedding and planning to bring along my fiancee
to US on my return.
Do I need to go for visa stamping again as my employer has changed .I did read in
a few forums that indicated that visa stamping is not necessary and I just need to show them
the new I-797 on my return.
However, Iam planning to bring my fiancee after I get married on H4 visa. If I do not go for
stamping, will it be a problem for her H4 visa stamping. Any suggestions are greatly
appreciated.
