DS-160 Question

Hello,
I was suppose to go India in May 2021 for my first H1b stamping with my first approval(oct 2020- sept 2021) and I submitted DS160 and took interview appointment too. But due to Covid, I cancelled my travel and Applied for visa extension, Now I have H1b extension for 3 years and I am planning to go for stamping in December 2021.
So Do I need to fill new DS160 with Extension and pay fess again? Or is there any workaround?

Hi,
I am not sure, If you submitted your DS 160. If yes, then you can not edit details. And also, you would have mentioned previous H1B receipt and approval details in ustraveldocs page which is also can not be modified by yourself now. But, Visa fees that you paid(not utilized) is valid for certain months. I suggest you to contain customer support to enquire about adjustment of payment receipts to new DS 160 form or editing the previous forms.
