Help understanding H4 visa in 2021

Hello,

I am currently in the US and my wife is in India and I want to apply for her H4 visa. I am looking through the documentation requirement and it looks like she need my visa and a valid I94.
However, my visa has expired along with my I94 but my extension got approved and I have a valid I797.

Will that be enough for her to get through the interview or my expired visa and I94 create an issue?

In order to go for H4 visa interview, you will need to provide latest H1B Approval notice along with other supporting documents..

Answer: Please consider below mentioned documents and your expired H1B and I-94 will not make any issues as long as you have renewed already.
Below is essential documents for H4 visa process.
1. Appointment confirmation letter
2. DS 160 confirmation letter
3. H1B visa holder Passport copy
4. Recent most H1B Approval notice copy
5. H1B petition( If needed)
6. H1B holder I-94 copy
7. H1B holder Employment verification letter
8. H1B holder recent most paystubs
9. H1B holder W2 form
10. Marriage certificate
11. Wedding photos
12. Marriage invitation
13. Visa fees receipt
14. H4 Applicant passport
15. Previous H1B Approval notices, if any
Other documents as per requirements.

I have all the other documents. But point 3 and 6 is where I need clarification. They are expired I was supposed to go this year get them stamped and renewed. But due to covid and the travel ban. I cannot go to India for my stamping.
I have an approved extended I-797A

Hi,
You dont need visa ext and renewed I-94 in order to give to your spouse Interview( As you mentioned, you are in the USA at present).. Please note, It is not compulsory that you will have to have visa approved for approving your spouse visa why because you are in the USA now. All you need is your H1B Ext approval. With that, they can attend H4 visa interview. Just give your passport and visa copies that you have right now along with I-94 copy.

So my spouse has filled DS-160 form. Earlier I would have to pay the amount and then select the date of the interview. Now should I first try and qualify for emergency appointment by sending an email?

Hi,
Once you make payment then select the dates. Then you will need to book the appointment under Emergency category again. Embassy will send an Email to you with their decision.

Currently when I log into my profile. The payment page does not appear? When I click on payment info it takes me "page not found". Has this ever happened anyone before. And who should I contact to help me resolve this?
I opened the ticket under "provide feedback" but they just closed my ticket without providing me any response

Hope you would have filed all the details like passport and delivery details. then it will be reaching payment. If you are not able to make payment or not seeing anything, It might be technical issues. Kindly check after some time. If these problem occurs again then you can call to customer support to get the help.

Hello, I have completed form and payed the fees. But when I go select the appointment date it prompts me "no appointment dates available". So should I now send an email for emergency appointment?

Hi,
When you want to go with Emergency Appointment, first you will need to select any dates you could see. With that only you can able to go and request for Expedited appointment. If you dont see any dates then please wait for some time and again check.
