Hello,
My passport had always issue since I got it:
Given Name: ABC DFE where ABC is surname and DFE is last name
Surname: It was left blank.
However, when my first petition was filed, everything was correct. Approval notice and visa stamping had correct names:
First Name: ABC
Last Name: DEF
Now, I am in US and when my employer filed extention for my petition, they filed it according to passport and my petition has incorrect name.
First Name: ABC DEF
Last Name: They have left blank.
When I got in touch with my employer, they told me I will have to first get my passport fixed if I want to change my name on petition.
Can someone help? Do I need to chnage name on my passport and then file name change in my petition.
