H1b transferred but old employer need me

Hello Everyone,

I really need your help with my situation below.

I am an H1B visa holder and currently working for employer A, recently got a new job and I have approved H1B from employer B.

I have given notice to employer A but they want me to stay for 6more months and complete the project I am currently working on, they said they will keep my H1B active, run the payroll as usual and are very flexible with the hours.

but my new employer expecting me to join in 2-3 weeks.

what are my options in this situation? I really want to help my current employer.

Hi,
It is really up to you which company you can consider and proceed.. But, Once you finalize moving with one company, the other company must withdraw your approved H1B petition. On another hand, If you want to work for both the companies then you will have to file the H1B petition under New concurrent employment. If you get approval under this visa classification then you can work for both the companies under H1B status.

There is no such thing as concurrent employment with H1B visa. You need to choose which company you want to work in future. I am certain your current company has nothing to do with you once that project is complete, and your next company won't wait for you.
