H1B Visa Stamping (Dropbox) and Meeting Prospective Partner/Spouse

Hi,

I have to travel to India for 2 reasons. First to get my H1-B visa renewed (dropbox eligible) and second meet my prospective future partner/fiancee. Currently we are not married , so I am not sure the best possible way to meet given the COVID situation. Is there any special way I can get a visa for her to come to the US ? Also when will the dropbox situation be open ? I currently see no appointments in the immigration portal.

Hi,
Unfortunately there is no visas can be given for spouse to expedite in this situation. But, Once you both get married, with the help of marriage certificate along with other documents, she can apply for H4 visa along with you. Other than this, another way is B visa.
