Query regarding H4 visa validity if H1 changes employer and old employer revokes H1B

Hi,

My dependents (wife and kid) had H4 visa stamped from my old employer valid till Dec 31st, 2021.
I changed employer in April 2021 and got H1B transfer done with new employer, which got approved till 2024.
My new employer also filed H4 visa extension for my dependents which is in processing.
In June 2021, my old employer revoked my old H1B petition.

Have the following queries :
1. Does my dependents H4 visa from old employer gets invalidated once they revoke my petition.
2. When does the 240 day period for my dependents will start - From Dec 2021 till which H4 visa was valid or from June 2021 when my old H1B visa was revoked.

Please see my response below.

Answer: No. It will not. It is still valid. Legally you can file Ext before Dec 31, 2021. But As you mentioned, you already filed H4 Ext, you are good now.
2. When does the 240 day period for my dependents will start - From Dec 2021 till which H4 visa was valid or from June 2021 when my old H1B visa was revoked.
Answer: 240 days will be considered as per receipt notice date. But, your dependents will have status till Dec 31 2021 and additionally you filed ext petition well advance, you are good now in all the way.
