Regarding presence of 3 months old baby for OFC Finger prints

I have a VAC and consular appointment for my H1B process in next few days. I have also applied for a dependent visa for my 3 months old baby. I am aware that I need to just submit baby's documents during consular appointment but do I need to take the baby for fingerprints appointment?

Hi,
Do I need to take the baby for fingerprints appointment?
Answer: No. Not required. Only children who are age 14 and older are required to appear in person for fingerprint scanning
