  • Legally receiving payments for viewing ads on H1B visa

There is a browser called Brave which pays cryptocurrency for using it (depending on the no of ads viewed) deposited on a crypto wallet. The payments are usually very small ~$10 per month. Can I legally receive those payments while on H1B visa. If not, what is the recourse if those have already been deposited to the wallet.

Receiving payments for viewing ads on an H1B visa is generally permissible, but it's crucial to report any income earned, including from cryptocurrency, to the IRS. While crypto payments is treated as property, any capital gains from selling it are taxable. Certain ad revenue platforms might have specific requirements or tax implications, so it's essential to research and understand these before engaging in such activities. Always consult a tax professional for personalized advice regarding your specific situation and to ensure compliance with all tax regulations.

If you're on an H1B visa, earning income outside of your primary employment can be tricky. Receiving payments from a browser like Brave, which pays in cryptocurrency for viewing ads, could be considered income, even if the amounts are small. It’s essential to consult with an immigration attorney to determine if these payments could potentially violate your visa terms.

If these funds have already been deposited, it's important to manage them carefully. Using a service like linkpay.io might help streamline your crypto transactions, but the key is ensuring everything aligns with your visa regulations to avoid any complications.

Today, as well as several years ago, earning money by viewing ads is one of the easiest ways to earn income on the Internet. It does not require special knowledge and skills, even a teenager can master it. In addition, this is the most common start for future earnings online. Payment can be received in various ways, but due to the increased popularity of cryptocurrency, many prefer to pay with cryptocurrency. If you want to receive payment in cash, but you are paid in cryptocurrency, then you can use a cryptocurrency exchanger, there you will sell cryptocurrency for a small percentage and receive fit money.
