    Hello Everyone,

    This forum helps me alot lotoff times, i hope i will get answers from experts for my questions.My case is right now i am on OPT ,i got job and my H1b was approved recently...My job is going to start from Oct'10.I have my Masters from US university.
    Q1)I want to do my H1b Stamping in canada or mexico...is it a better option ...how is the stamping rate in these countries...becasue i am working for direct client ..

    Q2) could you please give me the website details how i should go through this process....

    Q3) i want to go In Nov'10 ...with One month Paystubs...right now i am on OPT i have some Paystubs for my OPT Period of time...could you please guide me sinceere suggestion...please.... If i have to go to Canada or Mexico do i need any visa...please guide me....i am sincerley thankful to your suggestions

    ---- You should have and take all the pay stubs including the pay stubs while you were on OPT. This will prove that you were paid even during the OPT period and later you transitioned to H1 after the H1 petition was approved

    ---- As far as a visa for Canada and Mexica are concerend, you can travel to both these countries on the premise of Automatic Visa Revalidation (AVR) program, Google for AVR and you will find all the information. If you do not rely on these information you can also take a visa to either of these copuntires and proceed

    ---- Be aware of the fact that if your visa is denied or held under administrative processing like a 221G, you will not be able to return to the US and you have to proceed to your home country from either Canada or Mexico. Hope that you do not face this situation, rather get a US visa and return to the US safely
