Travel to India when H4 process in progress ?

Hi,
My wife is on H4 status and her H4 is in progress with USCIS and my H1b extension is approved and got document, if she travel to India during her H4 status in progress, does existing h4 will be revoked or she can go to stamping using my H1 ? Please advice

Hi,
You will have two options.
1. Wait for H4 Application approval. Once you get approval, with that you can go for visa stamping.
2. You can go for visa stamping with the help of H1B Approval notice. Get visa stamped. Once reaching USA, you can withdraw H4 pending application.

Answer: I don't find any complication on this, when you go for visa stamping while you have H4 petition pending. Many people are doing the same way and they get visa approval and withdrawing H4 petition once they back to the country.
