  • H1B transfer is in process but the uscis status looks weird.

    Hi Everyone,
My initial H1B was approved on Oct 2020,i haven't went to India for stamping.so when I’m changing the project on July 2021, I have initiated the transfer process for new employer.

Here is the status of my case

September 24, 2021 Document Was Mailed To Me
September 24, 2021 The Post Office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, because they could not deliver it.
September 9, 2021 We sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker.
July 19, 2021 We received your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker.

As per my Attorney, he submitted the RFE on Sep 25th 2021 through USPS

Im Confused about this status, anyone is on the same kind of situation before please let me know.

    Thank you
    Sunil

    Hi,
Normally, RFE notice will be sent both Employer and Attorney. Since you confirmed that, Attorney has responded to RFE, the RFE notice sent to Employer might be return back..
    This is what my assumption.
But, I recommend you to ask your Employer to contact USCIS to check about the status they have got through online.
Another thing, If Employer or Law office has any address change, they will need to update new address for USCIS record.
    Thanks
