Hi All,

I have one more year to complete 6 years of H1.
If I am on Business visa in USA and I get a H1B job , can I then apply for COS?
Does the COS approval mandates to go out of US for stamping? or until I travel outside US, I can remain to be in US?
Can anyone please clarify?

Answer: Yes. You can file H1B change of status. But, you can start working on H1B upon Approval.
Does the COS approval mandates to go out of US for stamping? or until I travel outside US, I can remain to be in US?
Answer: If you have travel plan and you dont have visa then you will need to go for visa stamping with the help of H1B Approval. Until you don't travel outside, you are not required to go for stamping.
