Applying for 2nd H1b

Hi,

I am currently in India. I have a approved H1b petition from Company A, which is not yet stamped and is expiring in Sept, 2011.
Now, my current company B, is also filing my H1b for an assignment, since my L1A from company B recently got rejected. Company B does not know about my H1b from company A.

Wanted to know :
1.) Can company B, file a fresh H1b for me ? or do I need to transfer my old (unused/ unstamped )H1b from Company A to B ?
2.) If Company B, files a new H1b - then does my previous H1b petition(from company A) becomes invalid/ null void ?

>>> You can do both. It is your choice to decide whether to transfer the old petition and use the existing CAP or go for a fresh H1B.

2.) If Company B, files a new H1b - then does my previous H1b petition(from company A) becomes invalid/ null void ?
