H1B Stamping. Help required

Hi..I have my interview in the first week of October. I have some doubts:

1. Working with IBM India Pvt ltd for the last two years. Now they have filed for H1b. During stamping what i need to say as i have heard that H1B is for fresh employment. Do i need to tell them explicitly that i am working with IBM India for the last two years and that IBM India US has filed for my H1B.

2. My petition also has a letter that explains my project.my responsibilities. my salary and that i will be working at IBM location. They have also listed the photo of work location in petition. Is a client letter required in this case?

3. will be carrying 1-129,797, letter from my delivery head from IBM, Certificates, salary slips, W2 forms. Is anything else required?

the main concern is should this be projected a fresh employment or to tell them that based on my performance they are offering a position at their IBM US office.

---- YES, H1B is for fresh employment in the US for a US company even if it is a continuation of your previous employment elsewhere. The location changes to US and thus a H1B is required to be working in the US. Your previous employment at least shows that you were working and not sitting idle at home waiting for a breakthrough

---- The company has thought well ahead of what is required for the H1 sponsorship and acted accordingly which is a good thing. Many companies do not follow these basic procedures and that's the reason for so many problems that you see on the forums. Yes a client letter will add to the process of completing the application. It will also save you from being questioned by the VO's about the clients and other matters related to the client

3. will be carrying 1-129,797, letter from my delivery head from IBM, Certificates, salary slips, W2 forms. Is anything else required?

---- Access the websitte of the US Consulate where you intend attending the visa interview and ensure that all those documents are with you when you go for the visa interview

the main concern is should this be projected a fresh employment or to tell them that based on my performance they are offering a position at their IBM US office.

---- Whether it is fresh employent for a graduate just out of college or for a an experienced individual it is a job offer at a US location. Thus this job requires a H1 sponsorship and that is what you are attending the visa interview for. This process will enable you to get the visa stamp on your Passport to come to the US and start working for the company

---- Your expereince will be weighed in light of the fact that whether you can do a certain job or not, are you qualified for the same, does the company have the right kind of job or not and all other factors that you can assume
