H4 Visa Refused due to Marriage relation

Hi,

My spouse is in the verge of getting her H4 refused (issued 221g in Chennai consulate) due to relative marriage. Marriage relation is uncle-niece marriage .Which is legal in my Country.



Wanted to know if any one else faced a similar issue and also any recommendation on how to move forward like consulting a criminal lawyer etc for a legal opinion

Hi Member,
Just want to check, have they specifically mentioned anything in the notice to submit in later stage? Sometimes they will ask you to provide affidavit for proceeding further.

No.. They didn't ask any documents....Its been Two months.. Till now I didnt get any update...
