How long does it take for consulate to return passport?

Hi,

I appeared for Visa interview at mumbai american consulate. the consulate officer told me that my L1B visa is approved but my passport is damaged send us new passport through courier and we will stamp the visa and send back the passport.


I got the new passport and send them but then they requested for I129 , I sent I129 also.

My question is how much time it will take them to return my passport in such cases. Also is there any chances of rejection of L1 visa ?

they have sent me my new and old passport again and send me another 221g form which says more administrative processing is required and we will contact you once done. what is this ? how long will this take ?
