H4 Visa Interview - Approved

Hello,

My wife and son attended H4 visa interview on 22nd Nov and got approved. The only question they asked was my H1 visa copy and asked my son what he does and the application was approved. My wife Visa was issued the next day itself and status changed to pickup. Although my son's status still says admin processing. Why would that be the case? I know its three days since it completed, but when mother and son go together shouldn't their visa be issued the same time?

Answer: It is not compulsory, if both together go for visa stamping and get the visa approved in same time.. Each application will be adjudicated and reviewed separately. So, your son visa application may under administrative processing and in review stage still. Therefore, Please wait for few more days additionally to get the further status on it.
