Incorrect DS160 confirmation number printed on Visa appointment confirmation letter

    Hi All,

    I have a drop box visa appointment next week in India. I just realized the DS160 confirmation number printed on the Visa appointment confirmation for my daughter is incorrect. It is a old DS160 confirmation number I used a few years ago. How do I get it fixed? I logged into my account and using the provide feedback link raised a case to correct the DS160 number. I also sent an email attaching the old and new DS160 confirmation pages and my passport copy. I am hoping they respond positively to my request.

    Does anyone have a similar experience correcting the appointment confirmation letter? Please share.

    Hi Member,
    You can go in to the page of CGI portal and go to Profile update page then update your new DS 160 number then generate new Appointment confirmation page.

        yes this works. You can update the DS 160 through the profile page in the appointment portal

          Hi All,

          I am in a similar situation now. i got my appointment booked against my old ds160 no i had in 2018. so i cancelled my appointment , update my profile and got new appointment with latest ds 160 no. but my barcode is same as last time. what do i need to do?​
