Hi - My PD is July 2012. I have my I-485 filed with EB3 downgrade in November 2020. I moved to a new job in September 2021 and the new employer filed I-485J. The company is in troubles and I don't want to jeopardize my application. As a result, I'm planning to find a new job and transfer my 485 application to the potential new employer.
My question is this:
Can I have multiple I-485J filed within the span of 6 months?
Will have any issues with my application and put me in a corner by doing that?
While I get my I-485J filed with my new employer, can I get interfile with my previous employer's I-140?. - I don't have a clear answer anywhere in the internet for this.
Do you recommend starting with Perm application and I-140 with my potential new employer just in case?
