Information regarding VISA

Greetings,


I am presently in South Carolina. I am a Special Education Teacher. I was in J-1 visa which got expired on June 01, 2010. I applied for B1/B2 visa before it got expired. Recently I was given a job offer in a school district. But they are not going to sponsor me. Unfortunately I have to apply for H-1B visa through some agency.


Kindly suggest me, if I get H-1B visa and also B2 visa, do I have to go to my country for stamping or I can stay here and work.

As long as you have H1 visa status, you can work. You will H1 visa stamping only for reentering the US in case you leave US.
