My passport expired and I have a new passport but I am unable to update the passport number in the cgifederal portal.
When I checked with support, they mentioned they will not be able to update the passport number since MRV fee is tied to old passport and requested me to let the officer know during biometrics appointment.
But I am eligible for dropbox, and in this case I am not sure how to let them know about the discrepancy.
Anyone faced this situation? Is it ok to proceed with dropbox appointment with old passport in cgifederal and new passport in DS160?
