H4 stamping w/o Spouse

Hello All -

1. is I-797 original of H1b of spouse reqd for h4 stamping in delhi consulate. She will be going for stamping without Spouse (H1B holder). Delhi consulate says copies of I-797 is reqd. Please confirm if you have any experience

2. If H1B holder in currently in US while she goes for stamping, How to send I-797, as it contains original i-94 attached there.
