H4 I-94 expiring - renewal applied 3 months back, primary H1 approved Options?
My H4 I94 is about to expire in slightly over a month. My husband applied for his H1B renewal (Premium processing) and my H4 renewal including my H4 EAD renewal together in Jan 2022. Primary H1B is already approved.
Looking at the Nebraska processing time, it is unlikely that my renewal would come before my I94 expires. I am currently employed and would lose my job due to this.
What are my options? Given that my husband's H1B is approved. Is it possible to travel to Canada or other country and get H4 stamping instead? I can't afford to lose this job, we would be deep trouble otherwise.
